Joanna Cutts’ is the proprietor of Cogitania, a “land of thinkers”, that functions out of Knightmoves Café. Children of all ages gather to really think about science and art. Scientists and graduate students in the area are tutors to bright minds who are always looking to satiate their curiosity. Tutors of science are aplenty in Boston with its premier education institutes. Cutts’ observations of her children and her own experiences with learning were the guiding influences behind this venture. A teacher of the cognitive sciences, she now devotes her time to stimulating the cerebral powers of inquisitive minds.
